Snoqualmie Pass Backcountry Ski and Splitboard Touring -Washington Cascades

Snoqualmie Pass is located just an hour East of Seattle, WA, making it a central hub for winter recreation. With dozens of ascent and descent options and relatively easy access from I-90, Snoqualmie Pass is one of Washington’s premier backcountry playgrounds.

The Mountain Bureau offers custom backcountry ski and split board trips with objectives appropriate for novice and expert backcountry travelers alike.

Skiers and riders should have at least one full season of inbound experience and should be able to comfortably link turns and enjoy black diamond runs in conditions including, deep powder, ice, and wind crusts. Skiers and riders should be comfortable spending extended periods outdoors engaged in moderate to intensive cardiovascular activity including a minimum of 2000 vertical feet of climbing. Additionally, participants are expected to carry and be familiar with use of avalanche equipment (transceivers, probes, shovel). For those looking to freshen up on their avalanche skills, The Mountain Bureau offers 1-day AIARE Avalanche Rescue Courses to get you ready.
