Philip Wheelock (Pepe) on Peak 11,300 during a single push on the Southwest ridge with Mark Allen in 2009. The team also climbed Shaken not Stirred on the Mooses Tooth in 16hrs, made the first attempt of 80% of a new line on the East Face of Peak 11,300 and the East face of Dan Beard. The team finished the 25-day trip with a 15+hr trip on the peak 11,300… however the glacier proved to be so unforgiving, it took the duo 5-hrs to descend what would normally take 45 minutes thus totaling a 21hr round trip to an advanced base camp on the Southwest Fork of the Ruth Glacier. The unrepeated Timeless Face looms in the background. Photo Mark Allen
