Overnight Splitboard Touring Camp

overview

This course is intended for anyone hoping to go further afield with their splitboarding and prepare the advanced backcountry rider to do overnight hut trips and camping trips with their splitboard. This course will focus predominantly on gear selection, how to pack an overnight pack for splitboarding, considerations with winter camping and tour/trip planning tips for being in a wilderness location. These skills will open up a huge variety of terrain one can splitboard in WA and around the world, and is one of the best ways to get fresh tracks away from crowds. This course is also a prerequisite for any of our Canadian hut trips and ski descents of Cascade volcanoes, such as Komo Kulshan (Baker) or Shuksan.
