Advanced Ski Touring & Movement Camp

overview

This course is an expansion on the skills learned in your Introduction to Backcountry Skiing course and/or AIARE 1 avalanche course. We will teach you how to plan efficient and fun trips, further into the backcountry. Learn all of the critical movement skills to be a safer backcountry skier, all under the watchful eye of a Mountain Bureau instructor. This is the perfect next step for people who have been on a couple of tours and want to improve their uphill and downhill techniques. This is also the perfect course to take to get you ready for The Mountain Bureau’s Backcountry Ski Pass or any of our Hut Ski trips.
