The Dolomites, located in the region of South Tyrol, Stretches nearly 50 miles, the area is vast and is split into groups connected by a network of well maintained mountain roads, allowing you and your guide to easily cover several areas in one trip.

Some of the greatest climbers in the world: Messner, Cassin, Comici, Bonatti, Tito Piaz, all were all called in by shaped of the Dolomite’s unique landscape and stunning formations.

DOLOMITE PROGRAM FLOW

Typically trips start by meeting your guide in either Bolzano and or Cortina. The group will then provision up with delicious local Italian lunch foods and drive to our first refugio nested under our first climbing venue. As the week progresses we can target larger, longer, and more committing climbs. After we have completed the climbs of our intrests in one area we will drive to a new secter of the range and base from a new refugio. For objectives higher in the mountains the team may decide to overnight at a catered alpine refugio so we are in better position to succeed on a longer alpine rock and summit.

ACCOMODATIONS

To best experience the Dolomites and optimally match your ability, our guides will like to sample several venues during the duration of your program. This means accommodations will vary between the hotel refugios which resemble more of a mountain hotel located in the mountain passes or a short approach to an alpine refugio which is your more typcal alpine mountain hut. Utilizing both options allows a team to take advantage of the big walls with short approaches, lift access crags, or more remote alpine rock. This will also allow you to best sample the local and climbing culture.
