NUTS AND BOLTS

  • Each Backcountry Pass is valid for 4 days (punches) - Your purchase is good for 4 Public Guided Backcountry Skiing or Split-Boarding days for $699.00. Early Bird purchases before Dec 15th receive $100 off your pass.

  • Meet your Mountain Bureau ski guide at the trailhead - Greet your guide and up to 4 other Backcountry Pass-holders for a day of backcountry adventure. No planning needed or coordinating needed. Only one pass holder is required to show for us to run a ski day. Reserve your day and be ready to roll.

  • Punches must be used during the 6 week pass availability window -No refunds will be issued for unused punches. There is plenty of capacity for you to use your pass.

    • All reservations must be made before the 48-hour cutoff period - In order to plan tours, The Mountain Bureau asks that all reservations be made more than 48 hours in advance. Within the 48 hour window, pass holders can request a reservation via the contact link on our reservation page. Requests will be filled on a first-come, first served basis until all of the open tour spots are filled.

    • Blocked out? Make a request - During this 48-window passholders can request to book a friend at the VIP rate of $175.00. All friend joining pass holder groups must meet the skills requirement stated above in “Is the Backcountry Pass Right for Me?”

    • Reservations may be re-booked - prior to the 48-hour window without a fee.

    • Reservations cannot be cancelled after the 48 hours cutoff -We will do our best but reserve the right to credit or refund.

  • Bring a Friend - Pass holders may transfer individual punches to friends and family. Original pass holders must accompany friends or family members. If the pass holder does not wish to transfer individual punches, we can send your friend a booking link at the VIP rate.

  • Purchasing additional punches - Pass holders may purchase additional punches once all of the original pass punches have been used. Price of additional punches at the VIP rate of $175.00. All additional punches must be used during the 6 week pass availability window. No refunds will be issued for unused punches.

  • The Mountain Bureau reserves the right to “punt” individual days- During the season we will certainly experience high avalanche hazards, extremely undesirable conditions such as rain, icy slopes, or any situation involving customer and guide safety. All days canceled by the guide will be added on to the end of the pass seasonal calendar, according to the day of the week that was canceled. In the event that The Mountain Bureau can not reschedule a canceled day, The Mountain Bureau will provide a refund of $125.00 for the canceled day.
