The Intro to Mountaineering Clinic is designed to introduce participants to the exciting world of mountaineering. This program will give you the knowledge and techniques to ascend some of the Pacific Northwest's moderate, snow-covered, "scramble" summits.

Learn basic alpine mountaineering skills with your Mountain Bureau Guide. Skills covered during this field day include using ice axes, crampons, self-arresting, and snow climbing techniques. This field course will greatly improve your alpine confidence and alpine mobility opening up new terrain for aspiring mountaineers!
